As we climb up the ladder of life, we move toward complete fullness in who we are.
We ascend the stairway to heaven on our earthly journey. And hopefully the contributions we make to society are purposefully used to the glory of God. For nothing matters as much as the winners walk.
We have an acute focus today. And just as a horse with blinders, we look not to the left or the right. There have been trials and tears on this path of dreams. Seeing ahead now, we notice that we have grown in ways that keep us light on our feet. Our experience at every turn and crossing has helped to alleviate all that we take with us. Letting go of the heavy burdens we did not need to carry further along.
In our maturity today we see that we are stronger in our walk. We no longer hold onto the past, and situations that are not beneficial for us going forward. We are headed in a new direction!
Finally, we are on to bigger and better things. And as we remember to lay aside every weight and the sin that so easily ensnares us; Just like an Olympiad, we run with endurance the race that is set before us.
Looking at the big picture we adjust our focus. We recognize what is important and what is not. Now in this race all runners compete. But only one receives the prize. So, we run in such a way that we may obtain it. We choose and determine ourselves to successfully reach our destiny with a sense of completion.
