When All Appears Lost

Lost and Found

There are times, where all may appear lost before being found. And when these moments come, all that is desired, is for a bit of good news. A little smidgen of hope for something wonderful to happen. Yet, hope feels absent and hard to find.

When all has been lost, trusting God is all there is to do. This is where something wonderful happens. It is when you catch a glimpse of the Creator at work.

Perhaps personal matters have been rising for some time and you’ve been scratching your head and asking why? You resolve to get through. But in Truth, your intuition and understanding are likely the best calculation. And no one around you has the explanation or answer. So, you speculate, all in earnest.

It is when all is lost, that we have clarity and can see ourselves from a distance. Yes we are staying the faithful course, but what choice do we have? When we come to the end of ourselves, we see with the Lord’s eyes in our situation.

God has not forgotten you. He would never forget His beloved. Please know that it takes courage to stand and wait on the Lord. It takes bravery to wear a smile when it feels like you are dying inside. It requires faith to walk, when all feels lost, and you struggle to take another step. God sees you and something wonderful is coming.

When the going gets tough, hopeful people can be inspiring or they can be irritating. It can go either way. Nothing feels so sad as to assume we have been skipped over and forgotten by our Lord, in whatever it is that we are hoping for.

Don’t lose hope. Rest assured that something wonderful is found today. Only keep believing that God is working on your behalf. Wait on the Lord to birth a new thing.

God loves you and His love will provide when you believe. Your pain may be great, not easy or fair, but something wonderful is about to appear. Isaiah 43:19 says, “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”
