There are times in life where we feel that our wounds are too deep to overcome. Maybe we were traumatized or experienced devastating loss. We may have suffered abuse and now recovery seems insurmountable. We wonder how things will ever change? And as we go through the day, we feel hindered in living out all that God has for us.
Our walk on Earth is a training ground. And we need to face our root issues head on, and not turn away or become dull to the healing that needs to happen. We are here to learn and grow and overcome defeat. And the goal is to attain wholeness and fullness of joy.
Everyday, God delights in your good outcome and is always working on your behalf. And the Lord knows every intricate part of your life. So when struggling with fear, pain or defeat, rely on God for strength. And as long as there is breath, there is the possibility for transformation.
The Lord is calling us home and will bring comfort when the mountain feels too big to climb. And when the road is rocky and you feel you will never make it, trust God’s perfect timing. His desire for you is to live free from chains. He works in us and around us and through others. And will bring recovery to the broken places. It’s not over until it’s over. So stay close to God, especially when painful feelings come. We demonstrate maturity when we lift others and are patient, understanding and kind along The Way.
“Surely the arm of the LORD is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear!” (Isaiah 59)
There are times, the journey can feel like it has taken longer than we could have ever imagined. We feel as if our dreams and the vision God has given, won’t ever happen. There may be a level of brokenness that remains after a very long time. Perhaps there was hope for a loving relationship, or a position of leadership and now it feels as if it will never come to pass.
Lay it all on the table in prayer, and walk knowing that you are justified by your faith. The times when you are overwhelmed with hopelessness, the Lord is there doing the best thing for the highest good. Jeremiah 32:27 says, “I am the LORD, the God of all the peoples of the world. Is there anything too hard for me? God can do it and He will. So don’t give up.
